St. Peter's Athletics
St. Peters School is proud home of the Tigers and a member of the Tri-County Athletic League comprised of teams represented from Sacred Heart Reedsburg, St. Johns and St. Mary’s in Portage, St. Joes and St. Johns of Baraboo and St. Patrick’s in Mauston.
God has Blessed us richly with the opportunity to offer many athletic opportunities for our students which foster fellowship, personal growth and teamwork in a positive Christian environment.
St. Peters offers our students the following sporting opportunities:
- Girls Volleyball- grades 4-8th season starts mid August and concludes end of October. 2017-18 Coaches Emily Herritz and Todd Halvensleben.
- Girls and Boys Cross County (Crusading Tigers co-op with Sacred Heart) - grades 5-8th. Season starts mid August and concludes the middle of October. 2017-18 Coaches Kim Brekke, Jen Schneider, Aaron Roden and Melissa Brandt.
- Boys Basketball- grades 5-8th- season starts middle of October and concludes end of December. 2017-18 Coaches Matt and Kim Brekke and Tim Thomas
- Girls Basketball- grades 5-8th- season starts beginning of January and ends early March. 2017-18 Coaches Todd Halvensleben and Erika Molitor
With the exception of cross-country each sport has an A and B Team, with the B team comprised of 4-6th grade and A team 7th and 8th grade. Dependent on numbers of participants 4th graders may be necessary to play.
We encourage your student to join one our teams, regardless of experience or skill level our goal is to “Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.” Proverbs 22:6.
