The Reverend Paul Crolius was born in Jackson, Minnesota, on March 24, 1967. He is the youngest son of Philip and Eileen Crolius who still reside in Jackson. After graduation from high school in 1985, he attended Concordia College in St Paul, Minnesota. Pastor Crolius graduated from Concordia College in 1989 with a double minor in Contemporary Christian Thought and Biblical Languages.
On August 12, 1989, Pastor Crolius married Michelle Kay Harms of Courtland, Minnesota. Michelle is parochial school teacher. Shortly after they were married, they moved to St. Louis, Missouri, where Pastor Crolius attended Concordia Seminary. He served his vicarage at St. John's Lutheran Church in Lansing, Illinois. Pastor Crolius received his Master of Divinity Degree upon graduation from Concordia Seminary on May 28, 1993. He was ordained on June 13 at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in his home congregation in Jackson, Minnesota.
On June 27, 1993, Pastor Crolius was installed as Pastor and Missionary at Large at Risen Savior Lutheran Church in Manteno, Illinois. He served the mission for seven and a half years. Pastor Crolius has also served his Lord as Circuit Counselor and also vacancy pastor for almost two years at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Bourbonnais, Illinois. Pastor and Michelle have been blessed with three children, Nathan, Brandon, and Colin. All three children were born in Kankakee, Illinois.
